Nail trims can pose challenges, but we aim to eliminate those entirely. We offer two options for trimming: basic clippers and a dremel (file). It’s important to note that dremeling may not be suitable for all pets, as it requires patience and tolerance for vibrations and noise. However, we can gradually introduce and acclimate pets to this method. Utilizing a dremel enables a closer and smoother cut, reducing post-trim scratching.

Does your dog exhibit scooting behavior, have a foul or fishy odor, or frequently lick the anal area? These symptoms may indicate an anal gland issue. Our team uses specialized wipes and sprays to help neutralize unpleasant odors. Our trained professionals are skilled in internal anal gland expression, ensuring a more thorough process. It's important to note that most groomers only perform externally. 

Pets with allergies are advised to have their ears cleaned regularly. Allergies can increase the susceptibility of pets to ear infections. However, it is important to note that even if your pet doesn't have allergies, regular ear cleaning may still be necessary. The amount of debris produced in the ears varies among pets. The ear cleaner we employ contains a drying agent, as well as antibacterial and antifungal properties.  However, this will not treat an ongoing infection. 

This service is particularly beneficial for pets that do not require a full trim but still require assistance in maintaining cleanliness. Neglecting to trim the hair around the anus or other private areas can result in issues such as fecal impaction and infections. As part of this service, we carefully remove all hair surrounding the private area, leaving it clean and hygienic. 

Does your pet have "Grinch paws"? Excessive hair on your pet's paws can lead to traction issues on smooth or wooden floors. This can affect mobility, balance, and potentially result in infections. By removing the excess hair between the paw pads, your pet can experience increased comfort and improved mobility. 

This solution is ideal for addressing the issue of cats scratching furniture or causing harm. It involves using silicone caps that are placed over your pet's claws and securely glued using pet-safe adhesive. These caps typically need replacement every 4-6 weeks, depending on the rate of nail growth. Initially, the first set may not last as long as your pet adjusts to wearing them, but subsequent sets tend to last the full duration. This method provides a humane alternative to declawing.

If your pet occasionally experiences mats but doesn't require a complete grooming session, we can assist with this. We employ either clippers or scissors, depending on the severity and tightness of the mats. 

Before your extended absence, we kindly request that we schedule a consultation to review paperwork, get acquainted with your pets, and establish a care routine. Please note that this meeting requires dedicated time and is subject to a consultation fee. Our availability is limited, so we encourage you to book early!

We offer an on-call option for your pet sitter to reach out to us anytime for assistance or advice. Additionally, we can provide a once-daily drop-in visit for an overall wellness check (additional cost), complementing the care provided by your pet sitter.

This includes collecting urine, fecal, and blood. Blood tubes need to be collected from your vet prior to the appointment! This service also includes drop off to your vet clinic (within 15 miles of your home). 

Please note that while blood glucose curves are often recommended, your vet may opt for a fructosamine test instead. Prior to your appointment, we will confirm with your vet to ensure we're conducting the correct test. As a specialized service provider, we will come to your home to collect readings, which we will then deliver to your vet for analysis.

As a team that includes Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs), we are licensed to administer injections to pets via intramuscular (IM), subcutaneous (SQ), or intravenous (IV) routes. Please note that all medications must be prescribed by a veterinarian.

To ensure accuracy and safety, we contact your veterinarian’s office to confirm the prescribed dosage and proper administration route. This service is especially beneficial for pets receiving treatments such as Adequan, SQ fluids, and more.

We do NOT offer in-home grooming services for several reasons:

1. Mess and ventilation: Grooming can create a significant mess, and residential settings often lack proper ventilation systems to manage the resulting hair and dander effectively.
2. Time-consuming: A complete haircut can be a lengthy process that requires multiple breaks and considerations for the pet's stress levels, making it difficult to accommodate within a single appointment.
3. Lack of professional training in grooming cuts.
