 I am the owner of Perfect Paws by Heather, the RVT. I operate a mobile pet care service and offer pet consultations. With over a decade of experience as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), I have encountered a wide array of situations. I've witnessed instances where people relinquish their pets due to financial constraints, animals going without necessary treatment, and owners sacrificing their own well-being to ensure their pets receive care. Unfortunately, since transitioning to providing in-home services, I've encountered numerous individuals who struggle to access veterinary care, whether due to transportation issues or financial limitations, especially among those who are disabled or reliant on fixed incomes such as social security.

As a pet owner myself, I deeply appreciate the love and dedication these individuals have for their pets. It's truly disheartening that I'm unable to personally assist each one in need. 

Did you know that studies have shown that pets contribute significantly to reducing stress, lowering blood pressure, increasing social interaction, physical activity, and aiding in learning? This underscores the importance of my initiative to launch this fundraiser.

The aim of this fundraiser is to provide support to elderly clients of Perfect Paws by Heather, the RVT, enabling them to afford necessary care for their beloved pets when it's required.

I would greatly appreciate your donation, even if it's just a dollar. Small contributions can truly make a significant impact when they come together.
